You’re not stuck because you lack ambition.
You’re stuck because no one has helped you decide what to do next.
Success Simplified is 1:1 mindset, strategy and accountability support for women who are brilliant at what they do – and exhausted by the business side of doing it.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Your head never really switches off.
You sit down to plan your week and within about three minutes your brain is going in every direction at once. Which thing do you focus on? Which clients do you go after? Should you post more? Start a newsletter? Do that networking event? Charge more? Charge less? Reach out to that person you met six weeks ago?
You’ve got a load of good ideas. You care deeply about the work. And yet somehow, at the end of most weeks, nothing has really moved forward.
So you do what any of us do. You stay busy. You scroll. You plan. You write half a social media post and then delete it. You go to the networking event because at least that feels productive. You help a client for free because asking for money feels wrong. You squeeze someone in at 7pm even though you said you wouldn’t because they really need you and it feels mean to say no.
And the business you actually want to build? It stays permanently just out of reach.
She signed up for a four-day expo because it seemed like the kind of thing a serious business owner would do. Now it’s three weeks away and she’s dreading it. There was no real strategy behind it – just a vague hope that being visible might help. It’s going to cost her time she doesn’t have and energy she can’t spare. But pulling out feels like failure, so she’ll go. And she’ll resent every minute.
Here’s the thing though, and I say this with love
This isn’t a motivation problem. It isn’t a discipline problem. It isn’t even really a time problem.
It’s a head-space problem. You’re carrying too many unresolved questions at once – and the weight of all of them makes it almost impossible to act on any of them. Every decision gets tangled up with every other decision, and thinking starts to replace doing.
That’s not a character flaw. That’s what happens when there’s no system to help you choose.
IS THIS YOU?
You love the work. It’s the business side that does your head in.
You’re self-employed. You’re good at what you do – genuinely good, not just ‘I think I might be okay at this.’ Your clients get results. They’d recommend you to anyone.
But the business around the work? That’s a different story.
You might recognise yourself here:
You’ve got real constraints on your time – kids, caring responsibilities, a part-time job you’re not ready to leave yet – and every plan you’ve ever made falls apart the moment real life shows up.
You’ve tried getting organised before. Courses, planners, productivity systems. None of it has stuck because none of it was built for your life.
You spend more time thinking about your business than you do actually building it, and you know it, and it makes you feel worse.
You undercharge, overdeliver, and then feel resentful about it – while simultaneously feeling guilty for feeling resentful.
You set a boundary, break it immediately when someone needs you, and then wonder why you’re working evenings again.
You’ve been meaning to follow up with that person for three weeks. They’ve probably gone cold by now.
Somewhere underneath all of it, there’s a version of this business you actually want to be running – and it feels further away than ever.
If you’re reading this going ‘yes, but also…’ to most of the above – that’s who this is for.
She’s been talking about relaunching for months. The audience is there. People have asked when she’s starting again. But she hasn’t taken a single booking – because the consultation forms aren’t sorted. She’s blocked by a paperwork task she could probably sort out in an afternoon if someone just told her to do it and helped her stop overthinking it. Meanwhile, the people who wanted to work with her are finding someone else.
BEFORE WE GO ANY FURTHER…
This probably isn’t for you if…
You’re looking for someone to do everything for you. This is about building your own clarity, not outsourcing your decisions.
You want rapid-growth, hustle-hard, scale-at-all-costs advice. That’s not what we do here.
You’re not open to doing a small number of focused things consistently. The whole thing only works if you actually do the thing.
(And before you panic – ‘consistent’ doesn’t mean perfect. It means two or three things a week, built around your actual life. If you’ve ever told yourself you’re just not the consistent type, I’d gently push back on that. You haven’t been inconsistent. You’ve been inconsistently supported.)
WHAT SUCCESS SIMPLIFIED ACTUALLY IS
It’s not a course. It’s not a programme. It’s someone in your corner every week.
Success Simplified is ongoing 1:1 support, built entirely around your life – your hours, your constraints, your goals, your business – that turns ‘I’m trying to do everything and nothing’s working’ into ‘I know exactly what I’m doing this week and why.’
No generic advice. No frameworks designed for someone with a different life and unlimited hours. Just grounded, practical support from someone who gets it – and who will hold the line with you until things start to move.
Week one: we stop the spinning.
Before we touch anything else, we get honest about your real capacity. Not your aspirational capacity – your actual hours, your non-negotiables, the responsibilities that are not going anywhere.
Then we choose one thing to focus on. Just one. And we set up the simplest possible way for someone to book and pay you, with the words already there so you’re not having to find them in the moment. We also create what I call your operating manual – a living document where everything lives. Every decision you make, every lesson you learn, every script that works. So you’re never starting from scratch again.
Every week: two or three things. That’s it.
Each week, we identify the two or three actions most likely to bring a client through the door. Not the most interesting actions. Not the ones that feel safest. The ones that will actually result in a booking.
Then we make them small enough to actually do, and put them in a time slot in your week so they’re not competing with everything else. If something stalls – if the week went sideways, if a blocker appeared, if you found yourself doing anything other than the thing – we look at why and fix it together. Sometimes the action was too big. Sometimes there’s a form that doesn’t exist yet. Sometimes it’s fear dressed up as a practical problem. We find it and we sort it.
Every month: we check we’re heading in the right direction.
Once a month, we step back. We look at what’s working, what’s not, and whether the direction still makes sense. We update the manual. We keep the number of active ideas deliberately small.
Over time, something shifts. The panic at the start of the week starts to ease. You stop re-deciding the same things. You start to trust that you know what to do next – because you genuinely do.
And when you want to pivot, relaunch, or go after something new? You reopen the manual and run what worked. You’re not starting from scratch. You never have to again.
WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES
What your week looks like after Success Simplified
| Before | After |
| Every week starts with re-deciding everything | Week starts with two pre-agreed actions and a time block already in the diary |
| Fifteen ideas, all equally urgent, none of them actioned | New ideas go on the triage board with a revisit date – not into the pile |
| You’re still thinking about what to say to that lead from three weeks ago | Every lead goes into the same simple follow-up path until they book or go cold |
| Boundaries set by willpower, broken by kindness | Boundaries held by process, not willpower |
| Every new phase means starting from scratch | The operating manual means you’re never starting from scratch again |
| Asking for money feels awkward, so you don’t, or you discount | You have the words already. You just send the link. |
| The work you actually want to be doing stays permanently out of reach | A business that grows at a pace you can sustain – doing work that means something |
ABOUT SUE
I know what this feels like. Because I’ve lived it.

I’m Sue. I help self-employed women cut through the noise and figure out what to actually do with their business – without burning themselves out in the process.
I’m also a qualified accountant, which means I’ve spent years watching brilliant, capable women tie themselves in knots over decisions that don’t need to be that complicated. And I’ve done it myself. I know what it’s like to be completely capable at the work and completely overwhelmed by everything around it.
I know what it’s like to say yes to things you shouldn’t have said yes to. To have a head full of ideas and no idea which one to actually back. To keep your business running through sheer force of will and wonder why you’re tired all the time.
What I bring isn’t a programme designed for someone with a different life. It’s honest, practical support that works around the life you actually have – the constraints, the responsibilities, the bits you can’t just magic away. No fluff. No pressure. No pretending it’s simple when it isn’t.
Just someone in your corner who will help you see clearly, choose wisely, and actually do the thing.
What happens when the spinning stops
I was feeling muddled and unsure what to do. Now I have a clear direction and know what actions to take. I feel like a weight has been lifted and my business has been given a much needed boost.
Jamie
I’d been stuck for nearly three years, reading, learning, and overthinking, but never actually launching. Working with Sue gave me the structure and support I needed to finally take action. I ‘ve now launched my business, and started working with paying clients – by my third month I was already breaking even. For the first time, I feel like a real business owner, not someone just thinking about it
Jemma
Working with Sue is an incredible experience. Her non-judgemental, compassionate nature really helps you to explore and dig deep. Picking up on things you are not aware of or hiding from seems easy to Sue and she helps you to recognise these things as well as challenge them.
Natasha
As an owner of a small business who works alone it was really useful to have an objective view. Sue’s questions were insightful and she got to the nub of the problem very quickly, in a honest, supportive way. She helped me to straighten out the spaghetti in my head. I would recommend Sue to anyone looking for honest coaching and practical ways to make change.

THE INVESTMENT
What it costs – and what it costs you not to
Right now, you’re spending hours every week in indecision that produces nothing. You’re leaving money on the table through work you’re doing for free or nearly free. You’re showing up in places and doing things that aren’t bringing clients in – because there’s no strategy behind them, just hope.
But the cost that matters most isn’t financial.
It’s the growing gap between the difference you want to make and the difference you’re actually making. Every month spent going in circles is a month where the people who need your help are finding someone else, or going without. And the work you started this whole thing to do stays waiting.
Success Simplified closes that gap.

‘But…’ – let’s talk about the things that are making you pause
“I don’t have time. My weeks are too unpredictable.“
I know. That’s exactly why this is built the way it is. Two or three actions, sized to your actual available hours, with your business-building time protected rather than assumed. The whole point is something that doesn’t fall apart the moment real life shows up.
If you had loads of time and everything was predictable, you’d probably have already figured this out. You haven’t because the unpredictability is real. So the plan has to account for it.
“I’ve tried programmes before and they haven’t worked.“
I believe you. Most programmes are built for someone with more hours, fewer constraints, and a brain that naturally works in lists and systems. They’re not built for you.
This isn’t a course you buy and never finish. There’s nothing to ‘keep up with.’ It’s one conversation a week where we figure out the next right move for your life and your business, and then we make sure it actually happens.
“I’m not sure my business is far enough along for this.“
If you have clients – even a few (even ones you’re not yet charging) – and you know that what you offer them is really F’in good, but the business around it isn’t holding up, you’re exactly where this starts. You don’t need to be further along. You need a system to help you get there.
“Asking for money feels really uncomfortable.“
I hear this a lot. And I’d gently say: that discomfort is costing you. Not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because without a straightforward way to ask, you’ll keep defaulting to not asking. Or asking apologetically. Or discounting before anyone’s even had a chance to say yes.
We sort this. You get a simple, comfortable way to talk about what you do and ask for the booking. You don’t have to become a different person to do it.
“What if I’m not ready?“
Book a discovery call. It’s a conversation, not a commitment. We’ll talk about where you are, what’s getting in the way, and whether this is the right fit. If it is – brilliant. If it isn’t – you’ll still leave with more clarity than you arrived with.
The thing that’s actually at stake.
You didn’t start this business to manage a to-do list or optimise a process. You started it because you wanted to make a difference. Because the work matters to you. Because there are people out there who need exactly what you do.
And that’s still true. The work is still good. The people who need you are still out there.
But every week spent going in circles is a week where they’re not finding you. Every month of scattered effort is a month where the workshop doesn’t happen, the practice doesn’t relaunch, the clients don’t come through the door. The impact you set out to make is being held back – not by your ability, not by your care, but by not having the right support around you. That’s fixable. That’s exactly what we fix.
Ready to stop re-deciding everything?
Book an exploratory call and let’s find out what’s actually in the way – and what two or three things would change everything.
No pressure. No pitch. Just a conversation.
Not quite ready? Start with a single Clarity Call – £111. One focused hour. Your clear next steps.
